Vision

iVivity sees the ever-increasing demand for real time access to multi-media information driving further innovation in networking technologies. Meeting the requirements of demanding customers with products that exceed expectations for simplicity, performance and cost will require a core set of technologies that enable a ubiquitous mix of voice, video and data to be accessed and managed simultaneously over a unified network. iVivity is focused on the following principles in the development of the enabling technologies and solutions required to meet this need:

1. Ethernet Everywhere - Leveraging well-established standards, like Ethernet, will expedite the delivery and reduce the integration time for new products. Technologies built on Ethernet will generate economies of scale that will further reduce cost for the customer, increasing the adoption rate as well as making newer technologies affordable.

2. Unified Networking - As networks expand and the mix of multi-media data types proliferate, mass adoption will force unified networking interfaces and platforms that will establish themselves as standards. These unified networking interfaces will facilitate deployment
of management and reporting tools required by systems to operate 24x7 at their peak performance capability, regardless of the mix and level of traffic passing over these networks.

3. Distributed Intelligence - Intelligence distributed throughout a network will be required to facilitate and simultaneously manage the various multi-media data types, as well as the huge amount of data that will be moving across the networks. Current implementations that rely on centrally located host resources will be
overwhelmed by new applications.
